In the year of 2014, after Mr. Levi had crossed all the T’s and dotted all the I’s to finally get the BBQ sauce Market ready with the USDA requirements, insurance, labeling, etc. it was time to reach out to stores and prove my product worthy for placement in stores. I was told by a good friend and Ferndale resident, Heather Coleman, that I should go to Western Market and talk to management. Virginia was open and supportive to me, and this unknown product called Mr. Levi’s My-T-Fine Soul Sauce. After she tasted it, she was convinced and ordered a case of Mild and Spicy. These were the first two flavors with the Habanero XS being added later.
