Replace the red sauce. Soul Sauce layered in gives the classic a depth that marinara alone can’t touch.

Antisia makes this for family Sunday dinner. It started as an experiment — replace the marinara with Mild Soul Sauce and see what happens. What happened was that no one asked for the old version again.

The sauce layers into the lasagna differently than tomato. The apple cider vinegar base keeps it from going heavy, the natural sweetness builds across the layers, and the heat from the sauce comes through at the finish. It tastes like someone actually thought about what they were cooking.

“If it’s good enough for family Sunday dinner, it’s good enough for yours.”

This is a make-ahead recipe. Build it the day before, refrigerate overnight, bake the day of. The flavors develop better with time. Leftovers are better than the first serving.
