Most hot wings are just fried chicken dunked in red pepper sauce. These are different. The heat in Habanero XS isn’t a gimmick — it’s the same foundation as the Mild, turned all the way up. Apple cider vinegar base, natural heat, no artificial burn.

Levi doesn’t use a fryer. Baking first gets the skin crispy without the mess or the oil. The sauce goes on after, then a final blast in the oven sets the glaze. The result is wings with real structure — not just a coat of heat.

“The heat should make you want another one, not make you regret the first.”

Habanero XS is the hottest variant in the lineup. If you’re cooking for a mixed crowd, keep some Mild on the side. If you’re cooking for people who came specifically for heat — don’t change a thing.

SeasonYear-round — great indoors or at the grill
OccasionSuper Bowl, game day, Father’s Day, tailgates, any party
Serves4–6 as an appetizer. Double batch for a crowd
SkillBeginner — oven does the work
  1. Pat wings completely dry with paper towels — moisture is the enemy of crispy skin.
  2. Toss wings with baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat evenly. Place on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 425°F for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway, until skin is golden and crispy.
  4. Remove from oven. Toss wings in Mr. Levi’s Habanero XS Soul Sauce until fully coated.
  5. Return to oven for 5–8 minutes to set the glaze. Watch closely — the sauce caramelizes fast.
  6. Rest 3 minutes. Serve with extra Habanero XS on the side.
